As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a remarkable year serving our hydropower customers across Ontario and Western Canada. At Millstream, quick turnaround and unmatched responsiveness are at the heart of what we do. This year, we were proud to help utilities and equipment manufacturers meet critical outage schedules and keep operations running smoothly. Here’s a look at our year in numbers: 

Reducing seal leakage and improving durability to allow maintenance staff to spend less time fixing problematic shaft seals!  

Ensuring smooth and reliable operation of turbine regulating mechanisms. 

Helping utilities keep waterways free of oil and grease while extending turbine bearing wear life. 

Shipped to customers in Ontario and Western Canada, ensuring they will be able to reliably supply conditioned cooling water for longer-lasting bearings and seals. 

Across Ontario, enabling customers to machine their own replacement wicket gate bushings, shear lever bushings, linkage bushings, and more. This next-day shipment capability for self-lubricated bearing materials has been a game-changer for urgent breakdown and repair work. 

We delivered a wide range of finished bearing and sealing products to our valued OEM partners, including ThorPlas-Blue wicket gate bushings, Thorflex Kaplan blade seals, Thordon HPSXL gate hoist thrust washers and more.
